28. The Man
“What a piece of work is a man! How noble in
reason, how infinite in faculty! In form and moving
how express and admirable! In action how like an Angel!
in apprehension how like a god! The beauty of the
world! The paragon of animals! And yet to me, what is
this quintessence of dust?”
Act II scene ii”
― William Shakespeare, Hamlet

THE QUERENT (IF THE QUERENT IDENTIFIES AS A man)
The Man Card Meaning
As a totally neutral card, the meaning of the Man is influenced completely by surrounding cards. If the querent identifies as male, it is typically representative of him or an important man in the querent's life. This card, along with the Woman card depends on context to entirely construct the meaning of the spread they appear in.
This is a VERY charge friendly card. Meaning, I recommend assigning a meaning to the Man card prior to pulling any cards. So when the Man card surfaces, you know it represents the querent or a particular man in the querent's life.
