Choose Your Own Adventure - With a Twist!

It's Choose your Own Adventure time diviners!

This time, we’re going to pick 3 Lenormand cards to see WHAT our week has in store. Then we’re going to pick an Oracle card to see HOW we can make the most out of our weeks.

Take a few deep breaths. You may wish to close your eyes for a moment.

Once you open your eyes, select the 3 cards you are most drawn to. REMEMBER the order. You may even wish to write it down (1,7,3 or 4,2,6) etc.

Pick 3 Lenormand Cards. Remember the order!

INTERPRETING YOUR READING

FIRST...

Identify the key words associated with your Lenormand cards....it may help to write this down or put in the comments what each of your cards mean.

1) Mice = Anxiety, stress, small loss

2) Tree = Growth, health

3) Crossroads = Decision, choice

4) Child = New, young, small, a child

5) Clouds = Doubt, confusion

6) Whip = Repetition, disagreement, conflict

7) Bed = Sex, comfort

8) Ring = A relationship, commitment

9) Bear = Power, finances, strength

NEXT...

Identify your focus card. The 2nd card you picked is your focus card. This card will generally serve as the central topic your week will revolve around. The cards surrounding this card (the first and third cards you picked) augment the focus card. Usually, the center card is the noun and the surrounding cards are the adjectives used to describe it.

For example if you picked…

Child + Ring + Mice

A new commitment brings stress.

Bear + Crossroads + Tree

A financial decision is made to yield growth.

Your Oracle Card Message

1) Lessons - “Find the lesson to be learned from your current situation.” No matter what you may be experiencing this week, there is something to glean. If you don’t immediately identify the lesson in your circumstance, make sure to take notes of the events that happen this week then return to them once you have had some space. The lessons will become more apparent when you can openly reflect without judgement.

2) Be Your Best - “Take a moment to recognize you have always been doing the best you can.” If you have drawn this card, it’s time to throw yourself a bone. You are one magical, hardworking person. If you have not yet experienced your desired outcome, know that you are doing the best you can and putting more pressure on yourself will not help at this time. Instead, take a breath and give yourself some grace.

3) Compassion - “See [others] through the eyes of love and witness them with acceptance.” This week, try to zoom out of your bubble and think about the big picture. I know it’s tough sometimes! If you feel hurt by someone or frustrated with yourself, take a breath. Look at the difficult situations surrounding our lives and hold some space and conjure empathy for the resulting actions driven by current circumstances.

CONGRATULATIONS! YOU JUST DID A READING!

REMEMBER...

Check out my post on How to do a 3 Card Lenormand Spread for more in depth instructions and examples.

Remember, this is for fun! This is a very simplified reading and Lenormand can do sooo much more.

It's perfectly okay if you don't feel like you don't 100% understand your reading. I recommend commenting below with your cards and interpretation so you can reference back and see how your week played out.

If you don't understand your cards make sure to reference back to them later in the week. Chances are as your week progresses, you will see how your cards come to life. This simple practice can help you to develop a relationship with the Lenormand so you can begin to associate your life with the cards.

WHAT DID YOU GET? LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW!
