The Sun Card Meaning
When I think of the Sun card, I think of March. Here in the Pacific Northwest, there is a time, often in March, when the winter slows it’s crawl across the earth, and a new season is ready to step in. When I walk my dog outside in the cold and typically dark days of winter, I always gear up to feel that cruel whip of the wind or rain or snow against my face, chapping my lips.
But…in early days of March, there is a rare moment where the first warm Sun of the year begins to peak from the clouds. My dog and I stop and turn our faces to the light. Her eyes close and her nose crinkles - this is a dog smile.
The warmth radiates through my body, penetrating the snow that crunches beneath our feet. Soon, what the snow has been hiding the sun will reveal. After a LONG winter, bask in the warmth of the Sun. Remember it is always there, even if it has been hiding all winter.
